Sherwood ES Weekly Update
April 28
STEM Night on May 2nd
Join us to celebrate an evening of STEM at Sherwood Elementary on Thurs, May 2, 6-8 pm. In addition to student posters, we will have interactive displays from STEAM fwd! Academy, NASA, NIH, Chess Academy, Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection and our very own SES teacher table!! Gabby's Sweet Treats will be on sale during the event!
If you have a student who still likes the idea of presenting a poster, it's not too late! The poster registration closes Monday, April 29.
All poster participants will receive 10 free raffle entries. Every SES student who attends the fair will receive an entry into the raffle. Prizes include a 3D Printer Pen, National Geographic Crystal Growing Kit, Build Your Own Bluetooth Speaker and Fish Tank Building Block Set.
WHO CAN ENTER A POSTER FOR THIS EVENT?
ANYONE!! We encourage kindergarteners - 5th graders alike to register for a poster. Tri Fold display boards will be available from the school upon registration. Small groups (max 3 students are permitted). Younger students may require a little more supervision but STEM is fun no matter your age!
