Google Meet: Mute All
Google Meet began rolling out another new feature last week: the ability to Mute all. This option may not be quite to you yet, but watch for it the next time you hold a virtual meeting with your students!
To find it:
- Click on "Show everyone."
- Select "Mute all."
That's it!

Translated subtitles in PowerPoint
Guess what? I DON'T SPEAK GERMAN!
But, while working with the team, I discovered that subtitles could be translated in PowerPoint without having to use the online O365 PowerPoint and without using the Microsoft Translator app (provided of course that everyone attending speaks the same language).
In the Slide Show tab of PowerPoint, go to Captions and Subtitles. You have the option to choose both the input and output language of the subtitles. This is available in both versions of PowerPoint (the downloaded program and the online O365 version).
