Benchmark Assessment Information Uploaded to Aspen
We are reaching out to inform you that the results of two beginning of the year assessments, i-Ready Diagnostic (for grades 1-8) and mClass DIBELS (for grades K-5), have now been uploaded to Aspen. These reports give insights into your child’s learning progress and help us support their academic growth. You will find instructions on how to access these reports below.
iReady Diagnostic Report
The i-Ready Diagnostic report gives a snapshot of your child’s performance in reading and mathematics. This assessment is aligned with grade-level standards, including content and skills that your child may not have encountered yet at the beginning of the school year. As a result, these scores serve as a baseline, identifying both strengths and areas for growth as we move forward. The next i-Ready assessment window is in January, and you will receive a growth report at that time, allowing you to see your child’s progress over the first half of the year. *Students in K will complete the first i-Ready Diagnostic in January.
mClass DIBELS Report
The DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills) report focuses on essential literacy skills for grades K-5. It shows your child’s proficiency in areas such as phonemic awareness, phonics, and fluency, highlighting skills that are foundational for successful reading. Like with i-Ready, the next DIBELS assessment will be administered in January, with growth results shared afterward. *Students in K are only assessed in November and May.
If you have any questions about your child’s progress or need help understanding the reports, please don’t hesitate to reach out to their teacher. We are here to support you and your child every step of the way.
Thank you for your partnership in fostering a successful learning experience!
