Significant progress has been made with the installation of new structural steel throughout the building, ensuring it meets updated specifications for its future use. The absence of snow load on the roof has helped speed up this process. On Friday, the first shipments of metal framing for the new walls arrived—our aviation instructor, Moses Daly, has had a front-row seat to the deliveries from his office! With framing set to go up soon, the interior spaces will begin to take shape, bringing the transformation into focus.

Bianca, a graduate of the Aviation and Aersopace Technology program and an FAA-certified technician, recently visited BTC’s high school Aviation program to share her insights and experiences. Currently employed at BETA Technologies, Bianca is making strides in the aviation industry while also giving back to the next generation of aviation professionals. Last summer, she played a key role in BTC’s Girls’ Aviation Camp, a collaborative effort between BTC and Vermont Works for Women, helping to inspire and instruct young women interested in aviation careers. Her journey is a testament to the exciting opportunities available in this high-demand field!
