Hello Quantum Families,
Despite the heat, many exciting things are happening here at Quantum! Our students are diligently working on their Genius Hour projects and I am really impressed with the results so far! Ask your student what they are working on and what their plan is for completing the project by the week of Sept 23rd. We also had an exciting assembly and introduced all our amazing staff and had our Olympic closing ceremony!

September is Attendance Awareness Month and all year we will be focusing on attendance. Last year, our average daily attendance was 93.8%. This year, we have a school-wide goal to increase that to 95%. At Quantum with our Project Based Learning model, when students miss school, it is difficult to make up. Students will receive surprise items throughout the year to celebrate being here! Those rewards may include stickers, otter pops, and other small items. Please let me know if your Quark cannot have otter pops.
While we know some absences can't be avoided, please make every effort to schedule appointments before, after, or during school breaks. If your child is feeling under the weather and you have a question about whether or not they can attend school, please don't hesitate to call our nurse's office. We're happy to help!
Come join parents and guardians as we live one of our Quantum values and chat and give feedback to Ms. Miller. Create with the Principal is three times a year and we use our creativity to produce an individual or collaborative craft.
