How do I check out a book?
Once you find the book of your dreams, you can either have Haylen check it out or use our Self Check Out! Here's how to self check out a book at the computer near the entrance of the library:
- Enter your lunch number, hit the button that says "find patron"
- Scan the AHS Barcode on the back of the library book.
- Note the due date for your book (two weeks after checkout).
- Enjoy your book and return/renew by due date!
AHS Peer Tutor Center
Peer Tutoring is up and running in the AHS Library for all students. This new program was inspired by Discovery Canyon High School and is a way to add an extra layer of support and community for our students. Our main goals are to reduce barriers to learning, provide tailored support, and improve study skills. Available to all students, for all subjects during every period you have free!
Come visit the Peer Tutors to receive help on:
- Exam prep
