Exciting news! Your Purdys Chocolate order, Fundsrip Gift Cards, and 2020-21 Yearbooks have arrived and are ready for pick up in the school office. - Please contact Tess or your homeroom teacher if you would like your items sent home with your child.

Thank you for supporting Holy Redeemer and the fundraising goals of Parent Council!

Do you have old winter attire that your child(ren) has(ve) outgrown? We are exploring the idea of having "classroom community bins" of extra winter attire.

We are currently seeking winter items of varying sizes for community utilization in the school for our classroom community bins. A primary example of this would be specifically in cases where a student has forgotten items at home and is in need for the day. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Any students arriving at school BEFORE 8:00 - Please come to the FRONT main entrance of the building. Please come in to stay warm and safe.

Students arriving between 8:00-8:10, Please proceed to the classroom-designated door.

Arrivals AFTER 8:10 am, Please come through the front main office door and check in with Mrs. Guerin in the office to sign in. - All other doors will be locked at this time.

Friendly Reminder - Please ensure absence coding is reflected as such:

• FLU - Illness with flu and/or cold like symptoms

• ILL - Other illness or injury.

• EXC - Parent Excused (i.e taking your child on a holiday)

Thank you for keeping your children home when they are not well.

School fees are due for payment through Parent Portal online access and are payable via Interac, VISA or Mastercard.

If you are experiencing financial hardship please review and submit the fee waiver attached below and contact the principal, Mr. Ed Kucy to discuss support.

A few updates before we are on Christmas Break from PAC!

Fundraisers are in! Come and pick up your purdys orders if you haven’t already and fund-scrip gift cards are also in so please come and grab them at the front reception by Tuesday December 20th! If you are okay with them being sent home with your child please let Tess Guérin know at the office.

Also, thank you for all your donations for the Bring and Buy Sale! We were able to raise $1000 for Santa’s Anonymous because of all the wonderful parents support!

Way to go everyone!!!! Much thanks and appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our leadership students and the rest of the school community; Collectively, were able to donate $1,333.25 in support of the Lurana Shelter!!!

The donation link online is still open if anyone would still like to make any donations or has any family members looking to support a charitable event this holiday season. - Simply, select, "JOIN A TEAM" and select "Holy Redeemer Catholic School" to keep the momentum going or one can create their own team. Donations will remain open until January 15th.

I want to wish everyone a very Merry and safe Christmas! The students were able to check out

some extra books for the holiday from the library this week. It will be a great time to curl up together, stay warm, and do some reading! May God bless you all this holiday season
