Principal's Newsletter: February

Greetings Cheetah Families,

We hope you enjoy the month of February. As we embrace Black History Month, let us take this opportunity to celebrate the contributions and achievements of African Americans throughout history. Our teachers will host various classroom activities to highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion. Additionally, mark your calendars for upcoming Random Acts of Kindness Week, taking place from February 12-16. This is the perfect time to teach our children the significance of being kind and compassionate towards others. To commemorate Valentine's day, class valentine parties will be held on February 14th during the last hour of the day. We encourage parents to support teachers through the donation of store bought, pre-packeaged treats as requested. All students are able to bring valentine cards for classmates. Let's spread love, kindness, and appreciation this February!

As a reminder, Parents who wish to volunteer for upcoming field trips and class valentine parties, must have completed the background check and the volunteer orientation. Please contact Ms. Godoy, Parent Liaison if you need to schedule your orientation.

Class Parties: Teachers will notify the office if they have invited volunteers to the class party. Volunteers will only be admitted to classrooms by teacher invitation. Class parties are for the students, no other visitors are permitted.
