Administrative Update
-During walk through observations, we will focus on plans being near the door and your ILO on the board.
-Lesson plans need turned in each Monday by 3:45 pm.
-This week, I went into 7 classrooms for walk through observations and ALL of them had updated plans available at the door. Thank you.
-English Department- As you are finalizing your plans over the weekend, please refer to the agenda from the February 14th English meeting for updated requirements.
-If you did not take the DCJS last week, please complete as soon as you can.

Expectations
Instructional Expectations-
-Lesson plans turned in on Monday by 3:45 pm
-BCC format for objectives- be sure to include a criteria for EVERY objective
-Lesson plans near door
-Daily objectives on board and reinforced during the lesson
-Writing needs to be taking place in EVERY classroom at BCMS everyday
Behavioral Expectations-
- Hallway behavior- Refer to behavior matrix
- Be on time to class
- Be prepared for class every day
- Be respectful to all faculty and staff
- Show consideration for other students at all times
Writing Expectations-
- All teachers will require a journal writing entry or other writing activity during each class period as a formative assessment assignment. This will be documented in weekly lesson plans.
- Writing will at least be checked for capitalization, punctuation and capitalizing the pronoun I.
Expectations for faculty and staff
-Supervision of students at all times: Hallway, duty posts, classrooms
Ensure ALL students are adhering to expectations set in the behavior matrix for the hallway.
Acknowledge ANY student who is not meeting expectations, whether you teach them or not.
-Admin. must be called to room before a student is sent to the office
-Be at your classroom door or duty post no later than 7:45 am.
- With the exception of a major classroom/campus disruption, parent contact must be made prior to a referral being turned in to the office.
