Dear Soleng Tom Families,

WOW!!!! Although our temperatures are still running warm we have already made it to December and halfway through the school year. Winter Break will be upon us soon and our 2nd semester will be here before we know it. Happy Holidays to everyone!

Tax Credit Donation
It is time to start thinking about making your 2024 tax credit donation to Soleng Tom. By donating to Soleng Tom, you are taking control of how some of your taxes are being spent by the state. The State of Arizona allows a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for contributions made to schools. There is still time for you to make your tax donation for the 2024 calendar year. You do not have to contribute the whole amount of $200 (single taxpayer) or $400 (joint taxpayers) at once. You can spread your contributions over time as long as your final donation is made before December 31, 2024. We use your tax donations to pay for extracurricular activities, such as after school sports, field trips and equipment /materials that enhance our programs at Soleng Tom. You may donate online. Our tax credit balance has been diminishing through all the wonderful activities and opportunities we have been providing our students over the past years. We’d like to send out a call for donations to be able to continue these activities and opportunities. Any contribution is greatly appreciated!

We would like to send a BIG THANK YOU to our wonderful parents and community for helping support our Soleng Tom families. Special thanks to our wonderful PTSA, school counselor (Mrs. Pastorini) and our office staff (Ms. McDowell, Mrs. Lesperance and Mrs. Robinson) for supporting our efforts in making the holiday season a great one for some of our families in need of that extra support.

Safety Drills and Protocols

On December 6th, we will be conducting a lockdown drill from 9:45am - 10:15am.

Our priority is the safety of our students and staff, during this time doors will remain closed, and no one will be allowed to enter or exit the building. Please be sure to plan accordingly.

Free Meals for all Students!

This year, all TUSD students can enjoy free breakfast and lunch! That's correct all students are eligible for free breakfast and lunch.
