Dear North Parents,

It is with a heavy heart that I share that I will be resigning from my role as North’s principal at the end of this school year. I have loved being a part of the North family for 28 years. North is truly an amazing learning community. Part of what makes North exceptional is you. North parents are encouraging, kind and appreciative. I will be forever grateful for the support you have given me through the struggles and triumphs. Thank you for sharing your students with us and trusting me with their education and well-being. It has been a privilege to be a part of their journey.

Who has 4 legs, a tail, and a huge heart? Our newest member of the GPN Family…Casey!!

Casey is a 5 year old Golden Retriever who is a certified therapy dog. He is going to start transitioning to North a couple days each week with Mrs. Keuten. Casey will always be on a leash with Mrs. Keuten and will spend his time at the front desk and in room B103. We respect the fact that not everyone is comfortable around dogs, so Mrs. Keuten will place visible signage (see picture below) outside of the areas where Casey will be when he is at school. Please feel free to ask Casey for a hi-five or give him a pet - he loves people!

GP Summer School information is available on the district website. If you are interested in your high school student taking a summer class, please see the information HERE or call your counselor directly with questions.

The Spring Sports season has ended with the exception of varsity baseball and varsity softball. Please turn your uniforms in as soon as possible. If it is not returned by June 14, 2024, you will receive an obligation from the Athletic Department which could affect your Fall 2024 registration.

GPN Athletic Booster Club Golf Fundraiser is on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at the St. Clair Shores Golf Club. Proceeds from this outing benefit GPN student athletes and teams. Please register to play (single golfer and foursome options) or provide your support by sponsoring a hole.
