North Families,
Wow, can you believe it is the end of October and Halloween is just around the corner? The leaves are turning color, the temperatures are beginning to fall, and the night sky is getting darker more quickly each day. Fall is here! While the weather is mild now, it will get chilly. Also, it gets darker earlier. Please talk with your children about wearing the appropriate clothing as we will attempt to have recess each day if it is safe. Sweaters, long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and socks may need to be purchased to accommodate growing bodies.
Please check your child's book bag each night. Homework and messages are sent home to keep you apprised of classroom news and events. We want everyone to remain informed. We have many things planned at the North Elementary School this November and December. If you haven't signed up for parent square it is a great way to always have access to newsletters and information throughout the year.
Last night we returned to have our family literacy night. We hope you had as much fun as we did! Thank you to all of the staff who worked so hard to make this a success!!
Have a great and safe weekend.
