I hope everyone had a great weekend and got a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather!

Scholastic Book Fair and Grandfriends

Our Fall Book Fair is here! Monday- Thursday the book fair is open from 7:15 am -3:00 pm and on Friday it closes at noon. We will also be open Tuesday Aug 29th from 5:00-6:30. THIS letter gives more information. The Book Fair website will allow you to create an e-wallet as a cash-free option.

Also this week, we are hosting our Grandfriends. This is an opportunity for students to introduce their teacher and classmates to their grandparents or another close family older family member or friend. Come enjoy some breakfast, see the classroom, and shop at the book fair. Remember, a visitor does not have to be an actual grandparent, older relatives and family friends are considered grandfriends. Check the dates and times in the graphic below.

Positivity Project

This week's focus is on the character trait of perspective. Perspective means you know that

people see things in different ways and may have a different point of view from you, and that’s

okay. Perspective helps us understand what matters and what does not, which helps us remain

calm and learn from our mistakes.

Elmo's Diner at 776 9th Street will donate a portion of breakfast and lunch proceeds to Easley between August 26-29, 2024.
