Welcome to Winter! Almost undoubtedly, we will have cancellations due to slick road conditions, snow, sleet, or, potentially, extreme cold. Any cancellation is a difficult decision that TCSC makes in conjunction with local and state coordination. We know it can be frustrating, but please know that we don't take these decisions lightly!
Following TCSC guidelines, if school is canceled due to inclement weather, any games, practices, or other after-school TMS Athletics events on that day will be canceled as well. (Weekend events will be handled on a case-by-case basis). We make every effort to work with other districts to reschedule games.
When this happens, TMS Athletics will communicate in three ways.
1) The event will be canceled on Eventlink. We recommend subscribing to relevant calendars if you have not done so following THESE instructions.
2) Coaches will communicate with parents and students through preexisting communications methods (email, Remind app). If you are unsure of what that looks like, feel free to reach out to the individual coach.
3) TCSC will send out communication through BrightArrow regarding the cancellation. TCSC has sent out multiple test communications throughout the school year, so if you have been receiving those, you are good to go! If not, reach out to Dawn Benefiel at dbenefiel@tcsc.k12.in.us.
