A Word From Mrs. Loor
Thank you for coming out to Back to School Night! I hope you walked away with valuable information about what your child will be learning in school this year. We showered Ms. Napoles with gifts for her 25 years of service to the district. We all know that Ms. Napoles is the heart and soul of Franklin School. We would be lost without her! Also, congratulations to Mrs. Stevens and Mrs. DellaPietro for attaining tenure.
The Kindness Crew is taking donations for the The Brooke Healey Foundation for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Please read the blurb below from Kindness Crew for more information on how you can donate. On Thursday, September 19th, we will have a spirit day to recognize and support the foundation by wearing PURPLE and/or GOLD to school.
A gentle reminder that our staff parking lot is for staff ONLY. Please DO NOT park in the staff parking lot or driveway during school hours especially at arrival or dismissal times. It is dangerous for the children as well as the staff.
Picture Day is Friday, September 20th. You can pre-order using the link below. Can't wait to see everyone dressed in their best!
With Warmest Regards,
Mrs. Loor
Kindness Crew
The Kindness Crew is proud to start our year by bringing awareness to pediatric cancer. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The Kindness Crew is asking for your donations to help us build Butterfly Boxes to share with the young patients at Morristown Medical Center. In support of The Brooke Healey Foundation, we will be collecting items from this Amazon wish list. Donated items can be purchased and sent to school with your student or mailed directly to Mrs. Jill Mills at Franklin School. Donations will be accepted until Friday, September 20th. The Kindness Crew will package the items to be delivered to the hospital.
We want to share a big thanks to Ms. Jen Curcio (Franklin's Speech and Language Pathologist) for initiating this drive. Ms. Curcio has been supporting The Brooke Healey Foundation for many years. We appreciate her work and support of this cause!
