Hooray for Pre-K

April 7 -Registration opens for returning students for the 2025-2026 school year. Please register for kindergarten to help us plan how many teachers we will need in the fall.

April 18-21- NO SCHOOL

May 9 - Field Day

FARMS AND FOOD SOURCES: Food is grown on farms.

Colors- black, gray, pink, white, brown, red, blue, green, orange, purple and yellow

Shapes- circle, square, rectangle, triangle, oval, star, rhombus/diamond, octagon, and heart

Writing - Writing own name; writing CVC words; review touch pull down/ strokes up and down, slant left, slant right, writing letters and numbers

Math -concept of zero, volume and capacity, counting to 30 or higher

Reading -CVC words; Introduce Ww. Review letters: Y, Z, J, V, G, D, R, E, H, B, M, A, S, T, I, F, N, O, P, C, K, U and L. Review beginning and ending letter sounds.

Science-Life cycle of animals, foods that come from plants

Please make sure your child has an extra pair of clothes (shorts, since it is getting warmer) in their backpack for emergencies. Sometimes we don't make it down to the bathroom in time or we spill our lunch on ourselves. Having an extra pair of shorts/pants and underwear in a baggie will keep us from having to call you in the middle of class. We can just change and clean up and get back to learning.

We would love to honor your child on their special day! We know it means so much to them to share it with their friends. Any food treats need to be "store bought". Please contact your child's teacher so you can find out how many students are in the class.

Please label all jackets with name or initials. If your child is missing anything, please come look in our lost and found.
