We had a great week at RMS!

This week we celebrated our counselors Ms. Smith and Mrs. Summers for National School Counseling Week! We are grateful to have such great advocates for our staff and kids!

Last night was the Fox High School Connect Night. This night was for 8th grade students that would be attending FHS next year. If you couldn't make it, please see the slide show and packet below.

Also, our The Black light Bash Glow Dance is tonight from 6:30pm to 8:30 pm.

Black Light Bash Glow Dance

The Black Light Bash Glow Dance is tonight from 6:30- 8:30 in the RMS gym, under the glow of the black lights! We will release students by grade level, please arrive at the time that correlates with your child's grade. If you have multiple grade levels, please come at the time of the oldest grade level. Tickets were prepaid only will not be sold at the door.

Pick up times are as follows:

6th grade - 8:10 pm

7th grade - 8:20 pm

8th grade 8:30 pm

Sodas in AC lab until February 14th. For $2.00 your Valentine will get a card and a soda! The

cards will be delivered each day in AC Lab, but all sodas will be delivered on Wednesday,

February 14th in AC Lab. Let's get crushing!

CHADS COALITION AT RMS

In an effort to reduce depression and suicide among our students, our school has invited CHADS Coalition for Mental Health to deliver the evidence-based Signs of Suicide® (SOS®) program during one class period. The evidence-based program is designed to help students recognize the symptoms of depression or warning signs of suicide in themselves or their friends and teach them the appropriate action steps they should take to get help. This presentation is in line with the grade level curriculum for Health/Physical Education classes and has been approved by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

CHADS will be visiting with our 6th grade students on February 22nd and our 8th grade students February 29th during their social studies class. For more information on the program or how to opt out, please follow the link below:
