BCMS COLOR RUN on May 10, 2024
BCMS Color Run will host the 3rd Annual Color Run on Friday, May 10, 2024. We would love to have your student participate . The charity we are supporting will be Ronald McDonald House. Amber Parker, Ballard County Middle School Principal is currently serving as the co-chair for the Kentucky Association of School Administrators Annual Leadership Conference which has chosen Ronald McDonald House as their Charity for the July 2024 event.
BCMS has set a goal of $12,000 to raise for RMHC. To reach this goal, we need 120 runners, one runner for each of the 120 KY counties in the state. Each runner pledges to raise $100. Once a participant has met the $100 goal, Ms. Parker and the student will make a video; challenging the Superintendent of the county that was assigned to the student at registration to match the $100 that was raised.
ALL money for the BCMS color run is DUE on Thursday by 3:00 PM

If a child falls 2 or more grade levels behind in Math/LA the interventionists will send a letter home to parents outlining the plan to help their child get on grade level.
KSA Results:
In October we will share the KSA results with students.
A copy will be sent home to the parent. .
School Counselor will have a class at Bomber Palooza (October 26th) for parents to attend that will help them understand the scores.
If the scores indicate the child requires interventions the parent will be contacted by the interventionist to discuss the plan to get the child on grade level.

At the end of each 9 weeks Bodell and Parker will look at the D/F reports and make phone calls home to parents regarding grades. Parent meetings will be held if neecessary.
