Dear Cascade Community,

As we approach the finish line of the first semester, I want to take a moment to encourage everyone to stay focused and give their best effort. The hard work and determination you’ve shown throughout the semester have brought us to this point, and now is the time to finish strong.

Finals are just around the corner, and I know each of you is capable of great success. Let’s use these final weeks to stay on track, support one another, and prepare to demonstrate all that you’ve learned.

As we look ahead to the holiday season, I want to wish each of you good luck with your preparations—not only for finals but also for the celebrations and time with loved ones that make this season special.

Let’s make this last week of the semester count! Together, we can finish 2024 on a high note.

Cascade FFA had 16 members try out for our welding team. We are only able to take 8 students to the actual contest. They have all worked very hard over the last few months to prepare. The future looks bright for our program!

Logan Parsons, Jackson Ellett, Nolan Paschal, Isaac Gabbard, Malachi Clampitt, Addison Moore, Leland Walker, Will Thompson, Evan Fishel, Jarvis Ludwig, Baylin Wallace, Cassidi Feiock, Byron Burdge, Cole Payton, Gunner White, and Carter Strahl

On December 7 our welding team competed at Mount Vernon High School for the District VIII Welding CDE. Senior team Evan Fishel and Jarvis Ludwig won first place in the senior team competition! Our other senior team was Baylin Wallace and Cassidi Feiock, who placed 5th overall. Junior team Byron Burdge and Cole Payton were the second place team in the freshman/sophomore category, and our other junior team Gunner White and Carter Strahl were the fourth place team!

The top four teams in each division will compete again for the State Welding CDE on January 18 at the J Everett Light Career Center.

Mr. Dugan's Marketing class has really OWNED the Cascade Cache!!

Monday is the last day to sign up for the ceiling tile fundraiser!!!
