Good afternoon Dolvin families,

I hope that everyone had a nice long weekend! I think it is safe to say that here at school, we are settled into our routines, have established positive relationships and are focusing on meeting our students' needs so that they all learn to their full potential. The 4.5 Weeks Progress Report will be available in the parent portal starting 9/13. The grading requirements per 9 weeks are listed below. Because it is the first 4.5 weeks of the school year, students may have less than half of these requirements at this time and some grade levels may not yet have grades in science or social studies. Not to worry, by the 9 Week Progress Report, which will be visible in the portal on 10/18, all students should have at least the minimum number of grades as listed below.

Important - All Visitors and Volunteers must remember to bring in their driver’s license each time they sign in. The license will be scanned each time. Thank you.

Please send your child to school with everything they need to have a successful day! Lunches, water bottles, homework, snacks, devices, etc., should arrive with your student in the morning to avoid interruption of instructional time. If a child arrives in the cafeteria without a lunch, they will be allowed to purchase one. Thank you and we appreciate your understanding.

Calling all Dolvin dads, grandfathers, and father figures! We are so excited to have the All Pro Dad program at our school!!! The Program is an opportunity for our Dolvin dads and father figures to spend time each month joining other dads and kids at school for a fun, memory-making event. It’s a great opportunity for dads to spend quality time with their children that will strengthen their relationship.

Dolvin dads, please schedule some time in your calendar to attend this with your kid(s) Friday, September 20, 2024, at the school in the media center from 7:00 to 7:30am.
