Exclusive Moore MS Volunteer Opportunity
Do you need or volunteer hours or just enjoy volunteering? Please join us for our MMS exclusive fall volunteer event! This is a time to get to know other MMS students better and learn more about HHOC!

We are excited to invite you to our first Veterans Day celebration on November 11th! We would love to honor all veterans who are related to our students, as well as our teachers who are veterans in the Moore Middle School community.
Event Details:
- Date: November 11th
- Time: Lunch from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
- Location: Library

Texas Conservation Awards Program
- The theme of this year’s essay contest is “Home is Where the Habitat Is”
- The contest is open to all K-12 public, private, or home-schooled students in Collin County Texas, considered eligible under Texas University Interscholastic League eligibility requirements. The essay contest is for children 18 years of age and under with two age divisions.
- The Local Level prize for both divisions: first place winner will receive $50, and runner up will receive $25
- The submission deadline is January 3, 2025, at 4:30pm.
- The entry form will be attached to this email. Entry forms may be picked up from teachers at the local school districts or at the local Soil and Water Conservation District Office at 1404 N. McDonald Street, Suite 100, McKinney, Texas 75071.
- All entries must be submitted at the local Soil and Water Conservation District Office.
