4th Sunday of Easter – Good Shepherd Sunday
The Mass readings for the 4th Sunday of Easter Year C (Good Shepherd Sunday) highlight the themes of Jesus as the Good Shepherd, the importance of listening to God’s voice, the inclusivity of God’s love for all nations, the significance of interfaith relationships, and the manner in which we worship God. The readings demonstrate that Jesus calls people from all backgrounds to follow him, emphasizing the unity and diversity of God’s flock.
- First Reading – Acts 13:14, 43-52: Paul and Barnabas preached to Jews and Gentiles, facing jealousy and persecution but spreading the word of the Lord. They left Antioch, filled with joy and the Holy Spirit.
- Responsorial Psalm – Psalm 100: We joyfully serve the LORD, knowing He made us and cares for us. His goodness and love last forever, and His faithfulness continues through all generations.
- Second Reading – Revelation 7:9, 14B-17: I saw a great crowd from all nations worshiping before God’s throne. They are protected and led by the Lamb, who wipes away every tear.
- Gospel – John 10:27-30: Jesus promises eternal life to his followers, assuring that no one can take them from him or the Father, as they are one.

May Devotion Night
On May 2 at 7 PM, we held a May Devotion Night. The evening began with the Rosary prayed in both Korean and English, followed by the offering of roses to Our Lady. Afterward, we celebrated Mass. During the Mass, a heartfelt letter to Mother Mary was read in Korean, followed by another in English. The English letter was written and offered by our 7th-grade CCD student, Minha (Maristella) Lim. Father Michael also shared a touching letter dedicated to Mother Mary. After the Mass, all the letters written by our parishioners were collected and respectfully burned in the church backyard as a symbolic offering.
