Dr. Seuss Week
March Madness - Attendance Initiative
We’re excited to kick off the month of March with our March Madness Attendance Initiative! This month, we're focusing on the importance of consistent attendance, and we need your support to make it a success.
Why is attendance so important? Every day your child is in school, they have the opportunity to participate in strategically planned lessons designed to help them grow and succeed. These lessons build on each other, and being present is key to fully benefiting from the learning experience.
Current Attandance Data at GTES
Chronic absenteeism is considered missing more that 10% of the school year - 18+ days
Data indicates that Gulf Trace Elementary consistently experiences
70 or more student absences per day.
We want all of our students here to take full advantage of the opportunities we have prepared for them! Let’s make March a month of great attendance and continued academic progress!
Thank you for your support and partnership. We look forward to seeing all of our students here and engaged!
The bracket below shows the match ups.
Each week the class with the best attendance moves on until we have our final showdown
Primary vs. Intermediate!
