Each week, we start out the week with Mission Monday. This mission becomes a focus for the week. You can help at home by discussing this mission with your child.
This week's STUDENT MISSION:
11-18- 24 Always say thank you when someone gives you something. If you do not say thank you within 3 seconds, that item may be taken back. Think about and follow the 3 second rule.

We Practiced Our Exterior Threat Teach-On Drill today
Our students in all of our buildings practiced our exterior teach-on drill on Friday. The drill lasted 6 minutes. Our students remained in the classroom and teachers continued teaching during this time.
Ramsey Elementary Book Fair:
Thank you so much to everyone who visited the Scholastic Book Fair and helped support our school’s library! The goal for this year was to make $3,800 and with the help of all our parents, students, and volunteers, the Ramsey Library was able to make $4,340! We are able to use the proceeds from this event to provide more reading books and resources for our library and students, and it would not have been possible without everybody showing their support!
A special thank you to the 2024 Scholastic Book Fair Volunteers that helped spectacularly: Kory Birhanzl, Stephanie Martinez, Genesis Andino Cruz, Alex Fultz, Valeria Turcios, Natalie Feuerhelm, Melanie Flores, and Alexis Gamble.
And a huge shout out to Allie Virnig and Gabi Van Sickle for being the extended hands that helped make this fair possible!
Once again, thank you to everyone who helped make this a very successful book fair for our students and library. It is so immensely appreciated!

Staff Spotlight:
Holly Kilibarda | Kindergarten Teacher
I've been married to Mark for 30 years this summer and we have 4 children. Our oldest Adam (and fiance Maddie) live in Maple Grove. Adam is a financial advisor for Top Line Credit and Maddie a High school teacher at Centennial. Our son Derek recently moved back to Montevideo from Bloomington for a little while and he works with Thrivent Financial. Our daughter Maddie and husband Luke (married in August) just bought a house in Mapleton and Maddie is a 3rd grade teacher in Mankato and Luke is in construction management for Interstates. Our youngest, Landon, is a junior and involved in basketball, baseball, youth group, waiter at Jake's pizza and other activities. In my spare time I just LOVE being with our family either at our Lake near Hackensack, going to sporting events, or other adventures together. I also love to travel, go for walks, try coffee shops, help with our youth group at Hope church, watch movies, and go to the Wellness Center as a family. I also am a very part time server at Table 212 chophouse. I am a graduate from Montevideo, Mankato state (undergrad) and St. Mary's (Grad). This is my 29th year teaching kindergarten in Montevideo! I am starting to have my former kindergarten students children...so that is fun! I absolutely LOVE this age because of their excitement of learning and of course all the hugs
