Westland Update for Week of Dec 4

8th Graders and Google- On Monday, we are excited to welcome members from Google's team to work with our computer science students. (see below)

Enrichment Academies Registration- Registration opens for fee-based, winter clubs on Tuesday, December 5th! (see below)

Basketball Try-Outs- Try-outs begin this week! Athletes with forms submitted will try-out as follows. Girls team on 12/5, girls team AND boys team on 12/6 and boys team on 12/7.

Drama Club Evening Showcase- Students involved in drama club will be hosting their families for an evening showcase on Tuesday, December 12th.

Prospective Parent Coffee/Student Shadow- Westland parents, invite your friends and neighbors to register for a prospective parent coffee and student shadow opportunity (on Dec 14th) here.

7th Grade Cookie Decorating Event- Seventh grade students---save the date---for an after school decorating event on Thursday, December 14th. (see below)

Our 7th graders learned an awful lot when they were given an occupation, salary, family members and many expenses! Thanks to all who made the Finance Park trip a grand success.
