2024 Woodside PFC Lap-A-Thon Sponsorships Needed
2024 Woodside PFC Lap-A-Thon Sponsorships Needed
Woodside PFC is seeking local business support to sponsor the 2024 Woodside Lap-A-Thon coming this September! The Lap-A-Thon is our biggest fundraiser of the year and the money we raise during the Lap-A-Thon covers the cost of operating our Science Lab with an Instructional Assistant for the school year! Business sponsorships will ensure we cover the cost of shirts, race bibs, timing system, and prizes to make this upcoming Lap-A-Thon our most successful one yet!
Do you know a real estate agent, insurance agent, painting, roofing, construction, or landscaping business that would support Woodside? Maybe a dentist, orthodontist, chiropractor or massage therapist? Please pass along this link with more information https://givebutter.com/lapathonsponsors. All sponsors of $100 or more, will be listed on the back of the Lap-A-Thon / Spirit Shirt. 300 students, teachers and staff members will wear these shirts for the first time at our Lap-A-Thon in September 2024, and then every Friday for Spirit Day throughout the rest of the 2024-25 school year! Family/individual sponsorships are welcomed and appreciated, too!
Sponsorship Opportunities
- $1000 - Large logo on the shirt back and the race bib
- $500 - Medium logo on the back of the shirt
- $250 - Small logo on the back of the shirt
- $100 - Business/Name only on back of shirt
- $50 - Name on sponsor list flyer; not on shirt
To sponsor the Lap-A-Thon, the business or individual can provide their information and an electronic payment by going to our site https://givebutter.com/lapathonsponsors. They can also write a check made payable to Woodside PFC and mail it to Woodside Elementary School - Attn: Woodside PFC, 761 San Simeon Drive, Concord, CA 94518. Sponsorships of $250 or more, will need to submit a logo by August 1st to make the shirt deadline.
This tax-deductible donation will lend support and ensure a successful school year for the students, teachers, staff members, and families of Woodside Elementary School community. Tax ID # 68-0037759

If it is your student's birthday week, they are welcome to report to the office at 8:05 am to help the student council officer with the morning announcements.

5th Grade Pool Party!
Hello 5th grade families,
The end of the school year is almost here and the 5th grade class at Woodside will be celebrating their promotion with a pool party! It will be held on Tuesday, June 4th (the last day of school!) from 12:05 pm-3:00 pm. The location will be at Ygnacio Wood Swim Club. Ygnacio Wood is located just down the street from Woodside at 3124 San Gabriel Drive.
Mr. Chenault will walk students from Woodside to the pool after dismissal. If your 5th grader does not attend school, families will need to drop their student off at the pool. Families are responsible for picking their students up at the pool by 3 pm. Please make sure your students have proper swimwear, sunscreen, and a towel. There will be lifeguards present.
We are in need of volunteers and donations to make this event happen. Our 5th grade funds will cover pizza for everyone but need fruit, drinks, chips, cookies, coolers filled with ice, and paper products. We also need a few volunteers to help chaperone this event, as well as some to arrive early (11:30 am) to help set up and decorate (Haley Olmstead will be in charge of décor and set-up, she just needs extra hands!) Please take a look at this signup and see how you can help out. Remember, all food and drinks need to be dropped off at the Ygnacio Wood pool (located at 3124 San Gabriel Drive, just down the road from the school.)
Thank you and please reach out with any questions!

As we move into the flu season and are facing RSV and COVID, We need to remind students about universal precautions - good hand washing after blowing nose, proper cough into elbow, etc..
