Notes from the Nurse
Annual vision screening for kindergarten, 1st, 3rd and 5th grades will be on October 29th, please make sure if your child wears glasses that they have them on that day. Hearing screening for 1st grade will be October 22nd and 4th grade will be October 23rd. If you have any concerns about vision or hearing and would like your child screened, even if it is not their year to be screened, let the nurse know and she will add them to the list. If your child is absent on the screening days, the nurse will screen them the following week.
Thank you for all your help getting appointments for immunizations, we had very few exclusions from school. If for any reason, your October or November appointment gets changed, please keep the nurse informed as we are checking the Indiana CHIRP system daily until all immunizations are current.
