Dear Robert Hunter Families,

We had a week full of celebration and recognition of our students’ growth. Kindergarten students performed their end-of-year show and 4th grade students were recognized for completing their educational journey at Robert Hunter and moving on to RFIS.

Many students enjoyed classroom parties - thank you to all of the homeroom parents who have assisted in planning these special events for our students as we close the school year. We look forward to celebrating a successful school year together at the PTO end-of-year foam party on Monday.


At this past week’s Board of Education meeting, we honored Robert Hunter staff members who are retiring. We would like to recognize and congratulate Ms. Pat Flavin, Ms. Fran Beckwith, and Ms. Crystal DiBetta for their contributions at RH, and we wish them all the best in their retirement.


We look forward to a great last week of school, and we wish all of our RH students and families a wonderful summer ahead. We will be available if you have any questions throughout the summer. Class assignments for next school year will be available in August, and we will share a summer edition of our newsletter as we get closer to the start of the school year.

4th Grade Picnic

4th grade students will have an outdoor celebration and picnic on Tuesday, June 18th. Pizza and popsicles will be provided. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately to be outdoors for the day - it is going to be hot! Sunscreen should be applied before coming to school. Students should bring a towel and a water bottle.

If your child has medication in the health office, it will need to be picked up or sent home. If your child has medication in the health office, please complete this survey. All meds will be discarded on 6/21/24 if no arrangements have been made for med return. Please reach out to the school nurse if you have any questions. Thank you!

Summer Food Resources

Summer is just around the corner, and if your family utilizes the local food pantry or your child receives free or reduced lunch, check out a new initiative from the state that can offset food related costs this summer. See the link below:

Summer Food Credit

Also, starting June 1st, the Harvest Family Success Center (5 E Main St, Flemington, NJ) will be starting their Veggiepalooza, which is a vegetable distribution. This will take place every Wednesday from 11:00am-12:00pm until fall. Registration is not required.

Robbie's Recognition

Robbie’s Recognition is a way to recognize our staff for the great things that they are doing. We encourage all families to take some time to recognize our fantastic staff members throughout the school year. You can use the Google form here to submit a recognition, and we will read aloud your recognition at a staff meeting.

RH Yearbooks

Yearbooks have arrived and were distributed to students in school this past Friday.
