Principal Message
Can you believe it is April 1st - That’s no April fouls joke! With April comes spring break, staff appreciation week, and the final stretch of the school year.
I want to take a moment to highlight the importance of fostering a positive mindset in our students. A positive mindset not only enhances our student's academic performances but also helps navigate life's ups and downs with confidence and perseverance. Research has consistently shown that students who approach learning with a positive attitude tend to excel academically and are better equipped to hand setbacks.
Here are a few ways we can work together to promote a positive mindset:
- Celebrate your student's efforts and progress, regardless of the outcome.
- Model optimism and reliance in the face of challenges, you provide a powerful example for your student to follow.
- Introduce simple mindfulness exercises like taking deep breaths, practicing gratitude, and self-awareness.
- Foster connections with teachers and other parents to create a supportive network.
Together we can empower our students to develop the resilience, confidence, and positivity they need to thrive in school and beyond.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership.

A Note for Parents of Reading Club Students
Just a friendly reminder to families that Reading Club begins at 9:00am. You may use the staff parking lot to drop off your child prior to 9:00am, if no buses are present. Please pull all the way through toward the gym to avoid blocking the bus lane. If you arrive after 9:00am you must use the parent drop-off lane. If your child rides the bus to school, they may join us as soon as they arrive. Thank you!
Midterm - 3rd Quarter Progress Reporting period
Progress reports will be available via ParentVue by April 22
Not everyone will receive a 3rd quarter progress report. 3rd quarter report cards are utilized only for students who are presently below standard in one or more academic areas, or for whom an improvement in behavior needs to be communicated formally.

VOLUNTEERS MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE
When volunteers commit to serving at a school, students achieve higher grades, have access to more opportunities, and gain community connections to help them thrive.
Also- if you have a badge, could you please bring it in.
