Principal's Note
May 2024
Hello Keller Families,
It is hard to believe that we have made it to the final month of the 2023-2024 school year. As a community we have really accomplished so much and have much to be proud of. Our students have grown so much over the course of the year, we are very proud of them!
April was a busy month with started off with the eclipse, that sure was a once in a lifetime experience. I am so glad that we were able to have so many of our students outside and enjoying the night weather and natural phenomenon. Our 3rd-5th graders had state testing and we believe did a fantastic job of showing all that they have learned this year. We've also been finishing up some of our clubs and also intramurals which has also been great to see so many students participating in these fun and engaging activities outside of our normal school hours.
Coming up in May, we certainly have a busy end to the school year. We've got lots of fun activities planned for the students along the way as well. Of note we have MAP testing which we believe will be another testament to all of the hard work and learning that our students have put in this year. We will end the school year with the best party of the year, Springfest on May 31st.
I wanted to end with a special thank you to all of our teachers and staff, as we celebrate teacher appreciation week (May 6th-10th). It is abundantly clear that our school community owes so much to these dedicated professionals. They put in so much time, effort, care, and love to creating an environment that not only creates boundless opportunities for learning but also aims to make every child understand and appreciate their inherent worth as human beings. Please join me in celebrating them, a simple thank you means so much.
Sincerely,
Mr. Hanley
