November Greetings, Cardinal Families!
It's hard to believe November is already here! The year is flying by, and before we know it, Winter Break will be upon us, bringing with it the cozy, cooler months. October was packed with activities, and we’re excited to share some highlights with you.
A big thank you to all the students who came out for our Annual Cardinal Candy Crawl! It was a joy to see so many creative costumes and to watch the excitement on our students' faces.
We hosted our first Spelling Bee at Tracy Charter School! Congratulations to all who participated! This was not an easy task and these students walked in confidently and did a wonderful job!

Academic Updates
By now, students should be approximately 75% through their coursework. Let’s keep the momentum going! If you’d like, you can opt to receive daily or weekly progress emails from your child’s teacher. Instructions for checking your student’s progress are included below.
Student Success Center
Our Student Success Center is open and bustling! Students seeking a quiet place to study or extra support are welcome to stop by. Room C4 is open Monday-Friday, 10 am–2:30 pm, with academic interventionists available to assist students who need a bit of extra help.
IXL Program
Our 6th-12th graders are encouraged to spend 10-15 minutes each day practicing on IXL. This program assesses students’ skills and tailors practice activities to meet their individual learning needs. With math being foundational to many content areas, daily practice on IXL helps reinforce essential skills, making future lessons more accessible and manageable for your student.
Weekly Meetings for 9th-12th Graders
Each Wednesday, 9th-12th graders have a virtual meeting—a new requirement this year. Students earn elective credits toward graduation for attending, and it’s a great opportunity to connect with classmates and stay up-to-date on school information.
English Learner Student Meetings
English Learner (EL) students are required to meet bi-weekly with their EL Development teacher, Ms. Elkins. These meetings are a state requirement, and students should be attending this meeting . Meeting details will be available on their TEAMS calendar.
English Learner Advisory Committee
We’re forming an English Learner Advisory Committee to support the success of our EL students, and we invite interested parents to join. If you’d like to participate, please email me at alee@tusd.net.
WASC Self-Study
This year, our school is undergoing a WASC Self-Study to refine our mission and evaluate the effectiveness of our programs. This includes a visit from the accreditation committee in May 2025. Soon, we’ll be sending surveys to gather input from our parents, students, and community members, so please be sure to fill out the form when the survey arrives.
We appreciate every day we get to spend with your students and thank you for your continued support at home!
Warmly,
Annabelle Lee
