FULLER FAMILY NEWS
From the Principal's Desk
Fuller Families,
This week we join schools across the country in celebrating Red Ribbon Week! Red Ribbon Week is an important reminder of our commitment to fostering safe and healthy lives for our children. Each day, we'll show our support with fun dress-up themes:
- Monday: Wear Red
- Tuesday: Dress Like a Movie Character
- Wednesday: Pajama Day
- Thursday: Book Character Day (assigned by class)
Our Book Character Parade will be on Thursday. You are welcome to attend! We will begin at 8AM. Please RSVP here if you plan to attend!
Also, be sure to wish a very happy birthday to our amazing counselor, Tabitha Hellman, on Wednesday!
Looking ahead, we’re preparing for our Veteran’s Day Assembly on Monday, November 11th. If you or a student’s grandparent is a veteran, please email a picture of the veteran, along with the student’s and veteran’s names, to n.smith@aubreyisd.net. We’ll proudly add them to our Wall of Honor.
A quick reminder: there will be no school on Friday. We hope you enjoy the long weekend!
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to a week filled with learning and fun!
Remember We are Fuller , We are Family!

Attendance
Good attendance is important for many reasons. Your child receives the maximum benefit of education by being in school every day, and numerous studies show a strong link between academic performance and consistent attendance.
A compulsory attendance notification will be sent to the parent if a student has unexcused absences on 10 or more days or parts of days within a six-month period or three days or parts of days during a four-week period. Notice it says “parts of days.” This means that leaving school early, or arriving excessively late in the day, even if the child attended for some of the day, may count as an absence.
In the state of Texas, Pre-K is not required, however, once you enroll your student in school, all attendance laws apply.
