This Is How We Lakeview
July 2023 Edition: Volume 4
Latest Updates
We have a jam-packed two weeks coming up, starting with this Tuesday's Lunch with a Loved One. We were blown away by the response from our families interested in joining us for this event. If you signed up, you should have received an email from me with more details earlier this week. If you missed the sign-up for this time, we plan to have another Lunch with a Loved One in second semester.
Additionally, we are currently in the middle of our PTO-sponsored Food Drive to support our local food pantry. Students are encouraged to drop off food donations in one of the four boxes located near the Cafeteria. Each box has a (quite large) picture of each admin's face, and the admin with the highest total of donations will get a whipped cream pie in the face on December 20th.
Finally, our National Junior Honor Society students have organized a donation drive to support the Fairfield Area Human Society. Students are requesting donations of blankets, fabric, pet food, and/or treats. They are collecting items through Wednesday the 18th, and items can be dropped off in the Main Office.
