The Snow Forecast #3

Our first 4 days together at Mary Snow were very successful! Routines that will carry through for the year were started, we got used to lunch and recess expectations, and I think the buses are almost running on time! This coming week will be our first full 5 days. It doesn't look like it will be too hot, but it may be a good idea, if you haven't already been doing so, to send your child with:

• a water bottle
• a snack

Thank you for your support at home! Collaboration between school and families is important.

Tuesday, 9/10: Volunteer Training, 5:30 & PTO Meeting, 6pm

Wednesday, 9/11: 5th Graders will have a band/strings demonstration

Sunday, 9/15: Beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month

OTHER:

Friday, 10/4: Picture Day

Monday, 10/14: No school, holiday

Daily attendance matters!

Attendance is a key factor in student achievement and success. Research shows that students who are regularly in school perform better and are more likely to succeed.

Our goal is 95% each week, which we met this week- we were at 95.65%. That is great! 🤩

GRADE 4- 97.66%

GRADE 5- 93.61%

Please remember to fill out and return your first day paperwork. It's important that we get all the forms back to the office.

When coming to pick up/drop off your child, our entrance is at the front of the building (facing Broadway). You have to walk around the building and ring the bell and someone will let you in.

We do not allow food for special events (birthdays, celebrations, etc.). Thank you for your attention in this matter. If you have any questions, please call the office.
