NG art is an exciting place to have fun, create, play, and challenge yourself through creative problem solving. Art at NG focuses on materials and processes to enhance the brain, body, and spirit through painting, drawing, sculpting, and clay. Also as a specialist teacher we will be outside every morning and afternoon greeting families coming to and from school. Art rocks!
Rebecca Stobbs ~ Gifted Education
As the REACH teacher, my goal is to challenge our gifted learners to be creative and critical thinkers as well as problem solvers. The REACH classroom is an intervention for the gifted learners at North Glendale, designed to meet their unique needs, whether those needs are academic, social, or emotional.
Although I love working with the North Glendale REACH students, I also love working with and supporting ALL of the students at North Glendale. Throughout the year, I will push into classrooms to teach lessons on creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving, and I will brainstorm with classroom teachers on how to best support their high thinkers.

We have a lot of fun––reading (of course!), learning and sharing new and old books, researching, practicing library skills, playing Kahoots, preparing for the Book Battle, and so much more! The best part of our job is getting you excited about reading and making you curious about the world––just by opening a just-right book. We are excited to see you in our fabulous space!
