Officials Fair

Did you play high school sports?
Do you enjoy the game and would love to stay active as we start a new year? Did you know that lower level officials can make between $60-90 per game? We have an idea to get you involved!
The Lake Conference is hosting an Officials Fair on Wednesday, January 22 from 6 - 8 PM in the Edina High School Cafeteria.
We need lower level officials (JV, 10th grade and 9th grade levels) more than ever to give our student-athletes the basic necessity of fair and safe play. We are looking for interested students and adults that want to officiate lower-level games at Hopkins and possibly other Metro area schools. No experience necessary! We will train you to be ready by this spring to specifically help in officiating baseball and softball. The following sports will be represented:Baseball, Softball, Football, Basketball, Hockey, Soccer, Lacrosse, and Wrestling.
Lake Conference Officials Fair
Learn about what it would take to become an official within the greater Metro area. Ask questions about the process and learn in a very informal format how this could work for you. We will have MSHSL lead officials on site to give you information and answer all your questions. In addition, retailers will be on-site to help outfit you for your officiating duty. The following sports will have representation: Baseball, Softball, Football, Basketball, Hockey, Soccer, Lacrosse, and Wrestling.
