Happenings Around the School
This week, Logan Heindel and Pearlean Maboe had the opportunity to practice dressing to perform veterinary surgery during Animal Science. Christina Spikloser, the hospital manager and veterinary nurse at Swan Harbor Animal Hospital came to share practices for a successful animal surgery.
PMEA District 7 Jazz Festival
Kayla Gorman, Nenea Schimek, Greta Bond, Deanna Yuninger, Connor McQueen and Lincoln Coppage recently participated in the PMEA District 7 Jazz Vocal festival at Dallastown Area Intermediate School. Red Lion students represented 1/4 of the vocal ensemble!
Students shared in another week of celebrating all things unified! This week we committed to spread the word to the end the word, rocked our socks for World Down Syndrome Day, and spent an afternoon with our varsity softball team making new friends and strengthening our commitment to inclusion!
Cafeteria News!
All Students can purchase lunch regardless of their account balance. Students can select from the Main Line, Cold OR Hot Deli Line, OR the Salad Bar Line. As always, a fruit and/or vegetable choice will make it a complete meal!
Lion Locker
The Lion Locker is open Semester 2 during periods 4, 5, 6, and 7. If you need the Lion Locker outside those periods, see the Main Office or Counseling Department.

ASVAB TESTING - Juniors and Seniors
11-12th grade students will have the opportunity to take the ASVAB test on the morning of April 10th! Testing will take place during the school day, in the LGI.
Reasons to take the ASVAB test:
- It’s an important test for those interested in the military
- It’s an excellent career strengths & interests profiler
- It can satisfy a high school graduation requirement (Act 158)

Attention Seniors!! The Red Lion Area Educational Foundation (RLAEF) Scholarship is now on Naviance. If you have any questions or need the application printed, please stop by the counseling office and see Mrs. Hill.

College Visits!
Attention 10th, 11th and 12th graders... please check Naviance for upcoming college visits. We have a few colleges coming to our school to meet with interested students. If you are interested please go to Naviance to sign up. You must be passing all of your classes in order to attend a college visit. If you have any questions or need help signing up, please stop by the Counseling Office and see Mrs. Hill.
