Student IDs
On Monday, September 9, all students will receive their ID and lanyard during science class. If your student missed picture day, our staff is working today and tomorrow to ensure their IDs are made. These will be temporary IDs until picture makeup day on September 13.
ID Requirements:
- All students must wear their IDs around their neck when entering the building and throughout the school day, with the exception of physical activities such as athletics and PE.
- Middle school students are required to show and wear their badges at all MISD extracurricular activities, such as games and fine arts events, in addition to bringing an adult with them
Lost or Forgotten IDs:
- A $5 fee will be charged for lost or damaged IDs.
- If a student forgets their ID, 6th-grade students will receive two free temporary badges, while 7th and 8th graders will receive one. All temporary badges must be returned to the house office or front office by the end of the day to avoid a $5 charge. Any additional instances will incur a $5 fee.
Device Protection Plan Deadline Approaching
McKinney ISD offers an annual Device Protection Plan which will be used to repair accidental damage to MISD issued devices. If you choose to not pay for the Device Protection Plan, you will be responsible for the full cost of repairs or replacement of the device. Lost or missing items are not covered by the Device Protection Plan. The enrollment period for the Device Protection Plan will end on September 30. Please login to MySchoolBucks to pay for the Device Protection Plan.
