It's been another great week here at NHS. The weather is getting cooler and cooler and staff and students are putting in a ton of work in the classrooms. I thank you all for continuing to encourage attendance every day for your student(s). Remember that if your student has to be absent, please call in to excuse their absences.

Thanks, everyone, for your continued support of our outstanding student musicians! We are still raising money for the NHS Band trip to the west side in April. Our next fundraising event is a Spaghetti Feed Dinner on Thursday, November 21st at 6PM. Ticket pre-sales will start in November, and will cost $15 per person. More information will be coming soon! Some important deadlines for Seniors (Class of 2025):
Senior Portraits are due on or before January 10th, 2025. Senior portraits may be emailed to Grizyearbook@newportgriz.com. Senior Photos must be at least 300dpi resolution, and should measure at least 4x6 inches. We strongly urge seniors to choose senior portraits that are vertically formatted. Please ensure that the contents of the senior photo are school appropriate. Please send the yearbook staff at least two photos. One will be used for the yearbook, the other for other senior special events and programs. If you have any questions regarding senior photos, please email matthewstodd@newportgriz.com

2-1-1 is a free confidential community service and your one-stop connection to the local services you need, from utility assistance, food, housing, health, child care, after school programs, elder care, crisis intervention and much more. 2-1-1 is always ready to assist you in finding the help you need in Newport and surrounding areas.

Before School Study Table will be every morning except Wednesday. It will start at 7:30 and go until school starts.
Lunch Study Table will be Monday-Friday.
After School Study Table will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
