This poem painted the image in our minds of teenagers having fun in the summer time.
Being in the sun
In the poem the teenagers outside having fun in the sun.
The summer they're sixteen
The summer that the teenagers are sixteen. It's the summer were they're just having fun being young.

The image that this poem gave off was eating your food with a slurp and a smack.

The image that this poem gave off is being loud as possible, and one way to achieve that was by blowing a horn.
