Farwell February... Hello March!
Greetings Webber Elementary Parents and Students,
March is upon us as well as some warmer days. I hope that Mother Nature keeps it coming.
This coming Thursday, March 6, we are hosting Kindergarten Information Night at 6:00 p.m. here in the Webber Elementary Gymnasium. The event is for parents of prospective, incoming kindergarteners or DK students for the 2025-2026 school year. Also, registration for new students (including incoming K and DK) is now open.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are also approaching, scheduled for the week of March 10. "Official" conferences days are hosted during the evenings of March 11 and 13. However, teachers also typically offer additional availability during that week. As was practiced during the Fall, parents may choose the option of selecting a virtual (Zoom) conference - rather than a traditional in-person meeting.
Reminder, today is the last day for the Webber Spirit Wear Store! We are creeping closer to the Discovery Fair and Talent Show - applications are due next week (3/5).
Have a wonderful weekend and GO DRAGONS!
Tony Palmeri
Webber Elementary Principal

Staff Recognition - Distinguished Dragon
Throughout the school year, if you would like to recognize a staff member from Webber, we encourage you to submit a Distinguished Dragon nomination. The intent of the Distinguished Dragon program is to ensure that staff members who go above and beyond their regular duties are appreciated. The additional effort or support can range from helping an individual to helping a group or any effort that seems worthy of praise.
The staff member can be nominated by a student, parent, community member or a colleague by completing the form at LakeOrionSchools.org/DistinguishedDragon. We ask for the submitter's name and contact information to follow up with specific questions if necessary. Please make sure to select the appropriate school/department form so the message is routed in the proper direction.
Please complete the form entirely so the individual can be appropriately honored for their contributions.
