This Week's Happenings
Third Graders Lead by Example with Problem Solving
Recently, our third grade students demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills during recess. They brought an issue to my attention about arguments arising during two-hand touch football, which was causing frustration and taking away from the fun. The students suggested a solution, as they requested flags like the ones used in flag football.
I was impressed with their initiative and quickly moved forward with ordering the flags. On Friday, we presented them to the students, reminding them of the importance of identifying a problem and proposing a solution. As they exited the building, ready to use the new flags, I was incredibly proud to hear their gratitude and appreciation for being heard.
This experience shows the power students have to make positive changes in our school community.
Future Tech Whizzes in the Making!
Our second graders are diving into the world of coding. They are learning to create their own games and solve problems step by step, using creativity and logic to bring their ideas to life.
