Instruments
We are getting the instruments sent to a repair shop this summer for cleaning and maintenance. If a student plays the french horn, euphonium, or tuba they will be affected by this and will get instruments sometime over the summer once the instruments return from the repair shop. We will reach out to students/parents individually to set up times to distribute instruments. For now, all they need to know is to be patient. Their student will have an instrument as soon as possible.
- Tenor Sax, Bari Sax, and Bass Clarinet Students have already received their marching instruments.
Woodwind Instrument info - rent a marching instrument. Do not buy cheap instruments. Mendini instruments are not approved.
For WW rentals the safest bet is Yamaha or Buffet. Models that are acceptable are the following:
- Flute: Yamaha YFL262
- Clarinet: Buffet E11 or Yamaha YCL255
- Alto Saxophone: Yamaha YAS200AD or Selmer SAS411
- Great companies to rent from are Bell's Music, and Music & Arts
Summer Housekeeping
Housekeeping - We are guests at HMS. Please be sure to be respectful to anyone you may encounter in the building. HMS and CHHS administration will be in the building all summer along with many other activities. Be sure to "keep a clean house." Always keep your items and belongs neatly with your section.
