MAPS and Dibels Testing
MAP Testing will Commence Tuesday through Friday next week, September 17 - 20 at 9am-4pm for grades 1-8. Parents will receive an email each morning with login information for remote testing, or you are welcome to come in and take the assessments here. For 1st grade the assessments are Math and Reading. Grades 2-8 will take Reading, Math, and Language Usage. Students may take one assessment each day, or all of them at once. First graders will need to have headphones if taken at the HomeBRIDGE office as the assessments have audio for them to know what the directions and options are. Dibels testing will happen Tuesday through Friday, September 24-27. Please click the link below to schedule a time to meet. What is the ASVAB?
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. It is administered annually to more than one million military applicants, high school, and post-secondary students.
Do I have to go into the military if I take this test?
No. Some students may be exploring this option, and others may not. Either way, this test will give you helpful feedback about the types of jobs that may be suitable for you.
