We are excited to be back at school and focusing on our conceptual theme for the year "Mana Motuhake " New beginnings with challenges and opportunities.
Our whanau teams are reporting early successes of our new model this year already, with positive comments and actions from both children and adults.
We are doing our best to work within the guidelines of Red Alert Level and we really appreciate the support from all whanau and caregivers.
We have developed a Response Plan, should IPS have a positive case identified. This will be share with you all next week.
Thank you again for all being gracious and kind as we navigate this world we are in.

Congratulations
Congratulations to our 5 students who attended the North Island Colgate Games held in Wellington, and the South Island Colgate Games held in Invercargill over the holiday break.
The tamariki achieved some outstanding results and personal bests in their events.
Maddie White - Silver medal in Discus - 11yr old girls
Harper Bailey - Silver medal in High Jump - 11yr old boys
Hannah Williams - Gold medal in High Jump, Bronze in 400m - 11 yr old girls
Lucy Williams - 2nd Long jump, 100m, 200m, 3rd Shot put
Alice Williams - 2nd Long jump, 3rd 100m
These students were also finalists in many of their events.

New Student Management System Edge Mobile App
This week we have started using a new Student Management System called 'Edge'. The Edge App has some amazing functions. Some of these functions will not be available until 2022 and we will keep you posted when these can be accessed. In the meantime, please download the app (as per the picture below) and begin by sending all student absences through the app. Please also delete the "School App" as we will no longer be using this. Any queries, please pop in to the school office or email office@inglewood.school.nz.
