Dear Families,

We had a great week! We had our first section of third grade attend the School of Economics for their field trip, we had our district late start, our PRIDE Assemblies over Respect & Responsibility, and our monthly PTA meeting. Thank you to all the families who celebrated our students and staff at the PRIDE Assemblies!

This next week will be short with school on Monday and Tuesday, We also have dental screenings this week. Our students and staff have Thanksgiving Break on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday! We are so thankful to all our families and community members who continue to support us! We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing Thanksgiving!

A few reminders:

As the weather is changing it is important that students are dressed to be outdoors during recess. This means students are wearing closed toe shoes and jackets. If your student is in need of winter clothing, please reach out to our counselors Christine.bachtel@usd469.net or Tami.scrivo@usd469.net

Family Events & PTA: Our next Parent-Teacher Association event is November 29th from 5:30-7:30. This is a free event open to our K-5 students and families. Concessions and raffle will be available for purchase.

Site Council: Our next Site Council Meeting is November 30 from 4-5pm.

Please plan to drop off students after 8:00 am (M-W & F) and 9:00 am on Late Start Thursdays. If you utilize Y-Care, please sign students in with them EACH day.

Late Start Each Thursday (If 3 or more days of school)
