Our Cubs staff has been preparing for Tuesday's big day! We're excited to begin our school's 21st year, with all of you in the Ansel Adams' family.

The cafe opens for free breakfast from 7:45 - 8:15. ( Arrive by 8:05 to ensure time to eat and get to class on time )

School begins at 8:15.

PM Kinder and TK begins at 10:25.

AM Kinder and TK end at 11:55

Gr. 1-3 end at 2:10

Gr. 4-6 end at 2:21

Fencing will be installed in the courtyard August and September to create the construction site of our new shade structure.

Let's start with critical information:

It's critical to log on to Aeries Parent Portal to complete the Data Confirmation for the following reasons:

1. It ensures your child's information is accurate so Lodi USD can properly communicate with parents, track student progress, and help keep your child safe.

2. Each child whose account is updated raises money for our school!

3. Parents are informed of schedules and school information.

4. Confirm low income status to be eligible to receive $120 in Sunbucks the following summer.

Parents, especially new to Ansel Adams, are encouraged to attend the 5:30 meeting in the cafeteria to be introduced to all of our teachers, meet the principal and vice-principal, and hear school-wide critical information.

Classroom presentations are at 6pm and repeated at 6:30. This is a critical time for parents to meet their child's teacher and familiarize yourself with the classroom expectations and procedures.

This evening is intended for adults only. Their will be some playground supervision for school-aged children, but children really are intended to stay home.

Thursday: red, white & blue - patriotic, citizenship day

Friday: Ansel Adams spirit wear. ( $10 t-shirts on sale at Back To School Night )

Parent of 1st graders and new students will be allowed to enter campus on the first day so you know where your child's class is located. All other returning students will be directed by support staff.

All visitors ring the front office door bell. Students are trained not to open the door for adults, as it is the responsibility of our staff to determine when/if someone belongs on campus.

Parent concerns regarding someone else's child is to be brought to school administration. It is not appropriate to approach another child to address a concern.

Congestion at pick-up time relieves quickly. The few minutes requires patience and slow, safe speeds.

Grade 1 pick up location is at the south sidewalk from the staff parking lot.
