Celebrating our Differences

On Friday, April 21st, Mill Creek East Eagles supported World Down Syndrome Day with a silly sock day and wore blue to "Light it Up Blue for Autism." All week long our students learned more about disabilities people may have and how we can support and be kind to all!

Duke Energy Presentation

Bright Star Touring Theatre, with a partnership with Duke Energy, presented "Cinderella and Prince Charging" to our preK-2nd grade students and the "Wattage of Oz" to our 3rd to 5th grade students. The presentations were a great initiating activity for our STEM day which focused on energy. The students learned a lot about engergy conservation from the performers. Thank you to Duke Energy for hosting this for us!

Men in Action - Thank you Readers!

Battle of the Books

Our MCE “Nerds” did a great job in the finals of the Battle of the Books against Mill Creek West. We fell a few points short of the championship but did an amazing job. Congratulations to Mill Creek West wolves! Never stop reading Eagles!

MCE Robotics Team is State Bound!

What an incredible day our teams had at the robotics competition! We are beyond proud of everyone’s hard work and dedication. Our teams finished strong, securing 2nd and 3rd place in driving skills, and both teams showed impressive growth by improving their autonomous scores since our last competition. A huge shoutout to Team 22255C for winning the teamwork competition! Their collaboration and strategy were truly top-notch. We couldn’t be more excited to announce that we are heading to the state competition, and we can't wait to see what this talented team accomplishes next!

Each month at East we celebrate different character traits, and also understand those traits in relation to what kinds of people we want to be when we grow up! Our Mill Creek Portrait of a Graduate is a collaboration of what our parents, students, teachers, and community members think a graduate from MCCSC should be and is shown here. This version is made for elementary students so that they can see what attitudes, actions, and achievements they can work on during their time at MCCSC schools. We have amazing kids who will become excellent graduates in the future!
