If you choose to drop off your child in the morning, the earliest you may do so is
8:00 a.m. There is no adult supervision prior to that time. Students should enter the cafeteria to eat breakfast at this time. If they finish eating or chose not to eat breakfast at school, they return to the playground to line up with their class. Their teacher walks the students to the classroom at 8:10. Morning announcements begin promptly at
8:25 a.m. Formal instruction begins at
8:30 a.m. Students who arrive at
8:30 or later need to go to the front office and have an adult sign them in.
When dropping off, DO NOT get out of your car to assist your child. Staff members are there to help. Please remain in your vehicle at all times during the drop-off procedure. Cars in the drop-off lane must keep moving in order to make sure West Street does not have a traffic jam. If you need to walk your child to meet their class in their line-up at the playground, you will need to park in the parking lot and use the new "Drop Off" Crosswalk. This new crosswalk is marked in RED on the map below. Please do not walk between the buses or outside of the marked crosswalk area. This will help ensure that all of our students and staff stay safe.
