Principal's Corner
Tiger Families,
And just like that, it’s March!
As we flip the calendar to March, I want to welcome you to the start of spring here at Alexis I. duPont High School! The weather is slowly warming up, the days are getting longer, and there is a renewed energy in the air.
This month brings opportunities for growth, learning, and community building. Our students have been working hard and will have the chance to showcase their work and projects they have been developing in class. We also have several exciting events happening this spring so be sure to continuously check the upcoming events section below.
I wish you a happy and healthy March. Let's make the most of this transitional season together.
Need Your Feedback
In an effort to improve our disciplinary practices, we want to gather feedback from our school community on the current use and effectiveness of suspensions in our school. Your responses will help us understand how suspensions are perceived and their impact on students, teachers, and the school community. If you’re interested in providing feedback, please utilize this survey link to share information.
This survey aims to gather feedback on the use and effectiveness of out-of-school suspensions (OSS) in schools. Your responses will help us understand how OSS are perceived and their impact on students, teachers, and the school community. /Esta encuesta tiene como objetivo recopilar información sobre el uso y la efectividad de las suspensiones extraescolares (OSS: out-of-school suspension) en las escuelas. Climate & Culture
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our students. As part of our ongoing efforts to promote awareness and prevention, our school will be conducting a mandatory program on sexual abuse awareness for all students. This program is designed to provide age-appropriate education on personal safety, boundaries, and how to seek help if needed.
The program will take place on Tuesday March 4th and participation is required for all students. If you have any questions or concerns or would like more details about the content, please feel free to contact us at 302.651.2626
Thank you for your support in creating a safe and informed school environment.
